This was created by Mike Fillyaw in a class I taught last Spring (2010). Autobiographical Media. What is interesting here (other than just straight forward interview) is thinking about this piece in the future. Think of this being listened to when Mike is 60. It is an autobiographical piece that has not expiration date. What will he think about it? We've got 40 years to wait.
"My father is 60 years old, I am 21. For the first 20 years of my life I rarely saw him even pick up a camera, but in recent months he has become an avid photographer. Why is this? I felt the need to explore the motives behind his recent hobby. Where did this new passion come from? I discussed with him the role of family photography when he was growing up and as a father, what he enjoys taking pictures of, and so on. The final product will be a podcast of the interview with brief narration from me."
